any chance at SSL here?
hoping that SSL (HTTPS) is in the works? i get nervous logging in / posting info on non-SSL sites. is very useful

is it also possible to allow for longer passwords (after SSL obv)?

I hope SSL will be up sometime too. I don't have access to that stuff though, since loneraven runs the actual website. So +1 from me.

As for longer passwords, which is also mentioned in another forum post[0], there's a MyBB problem. I don't know if I can fix it, but I've opened a thread in the MyBB support forum and gotten some feedback that I'll act on when loneraven gets back to me (it requires some server side file management that I don't have access to).

Using the same password, or personal info everywhere, especially between political and personal accounts, is a baaad idea.

If I ever get a tech job, this is my new comeback to any security questions.

Apparently this randomly works now. -_o_-

Set it to 32 characters.
For those of you asking about SSL, if you send me a donation to cover the cost, then yeah, I'll buy one.

But I'm not gonna fork out for it cuz I don't think it's worth it, sorry. :)
Do you mean that you use a web host or similar that charges for SSL? Because setting up is gratis — «anyone who owns a domain name can use Let’s Encrypt to obtain a trusted certificate at zero cost.» Perhaps you should be compensated for your time though.
My host does not support that
HTTPS is enabled now.
Thumbs Up
