John Jacobi, Ted fan
#1
Hey, I'm John Jacobi. I spent a lot of time when I was younger putting Ted's writings online. Started a university group called "Freedom Club." etc. etc. I run a website called The Wild Will Project: http://www.wildwill.net

NY Mag just featured me in an article about TK: http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2018/12/t...lytes.html

I've seen this forum before, but expected it to die like the other anti-civ forums do. Happy to see that's not the case.

Looking forward to some good discussions on here.

Hallo & welcome! I've heard your name a lot, but I confess I don't know about any of your stuff. Looking forward to checking it out though!

There's already a thread about that NYM article: https://anti-civ.net/showthread.php?tid=483&pid=2023

How did the journalist contact/find you? How do you respond to Ted K. calling you "a problem rather then a help?"

Hey John,
  It's Hoot here.
I've read and studied Kaczynski's books. Also read your article "T.K. and why He Matters". Very good.
My intro. has my ideas: Using internet for nothing other than sharing intell on the enemy and ideas on offense against the enemy. Keeping our personal info offline as much as poss.
Question for you: One of my ideas to implement in 2019 is a major unplugging event initiated by a mass input of confusion to the data centers. Do we have contact with the hacker movement to gain advice on data overloading ? Has anyone else looked into this ?
My theory is that at minimum our unpredictability can at least be preserved better if we not only organize some simultaneous mass-confusion and combine it with simply dissapearing afterwards.
We are all being tracked and "predicted" now with A.I. that is way over our heads.
It requires one thing however, and that is our continuous participation on the fucking net.
Any intell on this idea ?
                                     Hoot
