Banksy's self-destruction
#1
Banksy arranged for one of his best-known works to be shredded after it was sold at an auction for >£1m. Banksy built the shredder into the painting years ago, «[ i ]n case it was ever put up for auction».

Simply marvellous.

This Banksy's self destruction just made my day. It's indeed a part of art history. And in some way it's all about art in real-time and its geometry transformations. But what was particularly hilarious about all this thing - the buyer did have the money returned. While MyArtBroker will have increase of the annual value of other artworks by Banksy for sure.

I saw a nice piece of graffiti scrawled on the wall of a bank on Acte 17, last week. It read: Bankster
