It's very interesting to read about all these new findings. There seems to be a new big thing every month, at least! It's like we're living through a massive reinterpretation in archæology and anthropology, comparable to the one in astronomy in the previous century. It's exciting to think about all the adventurous journeys pre-civ man made.
P.S.
The article seems to use «sophisticated tools» and «innovative technology» interchangeably.
