I've been recommending book called The Shallows to almost everyone I know. A bit ironically, a lot of people told me they didn't have the attention span to finish it. I started trying to summarize a bit of the cognitive aspects of what the internet (due to the attention economy) is doing to our brains.
Let me know what you guys think.

The post is decent, although you should probably use the momentum of it to make something more out of that ending. It just kinda peters out with "don't use the Internet unless you need to," which might be somewhat unhelpful, when you've already established that it's addicting, and that (some of) your readers are acting compulsively. So I think the article could do with some more information about how to get out of the sinkhole.

Thank's for the feedback alexander. That was the first post I ever wrote so I was just practicing writing. I got some feedback that it was a little dry and read like a textbook. I removed it for now and am planning on rewriting it.
I wrote this one and I think it's a lot better:

I still have to work on the endings though.

I've actually seen it! You might like "Attention Merchants" by Tim Wu, it's a deeper exploration of those topics.
