Cops "rescue" a feral girl who's been living with monkeys. Domestication is obviously non-optional, so she must be forced into submission. What are your thoughts about this? It's a potentially pretty amazing story, so I hope more information surfaces.

Interesting story. Latest update:

She can't speak and is "mentally and physically disabled" but has re-learned walking since hospitalization, so it's thought she was abandoned by parents who didn't want to or weren't able to care for her. She didn't really go to Croatan, but at least she's unlikely to found a new Rome in the jungle.

The story certainly is less "interesting" now, by the unusualness metric. But no less tragic.
